Course Overview

Power Fx is the low-code programming language of Microsoft Power Platform that enables users to build business applications with minimal coding. This training covers Power Fx fundamentals, formulas, functions, variables, collections, data operations, and advanced business logic used in Power Apps. Participants will gain hands-on experience in developing efficient, scalable, and user-friendly applications.

    Power Fx Training Curriculum (8 Hours)

    Module 1: Introduction to Power Fx (1 Hour)
    Understanding Power Fx, formula syntax, controls, properties, and its role in Power Apps development.

    Module 2: Data Types and Operators (1 Hour)
    Working with text, numbers, dates, booleans, and using arithmetic, logical, and comparison operators.

    Module 3: Functions and Expressions (1.5 Hours)
    Using text, date/time, mathematical, and conditional functions such as If, Switch, Concatenate, and Today.

    Module 4: Variables and Collections (1 Hour)
    Creating and managing global variables, context variables, and collections for storing and manipulating data.

    Module 5: Data Operations with Power Fx (1 Hour)
    Connecting to Dataverse, SharePoint, and Excel data sources, and using Filter, Search, Sort, and Lookup functions.

    Module 6: Business Logic and Validation (1 Hour)
    Implementing validations, conditional logic, notifications, error handling, and dynamic user experiences.

    Module 7: Advanced Power Fx Functions (1 Hour)
    Working with Patch, ForAll, Concurrent, With, and optimization techniques for efficient app performance.

    Module 8: Practical Implementation and Best Practices (0.5 Hour)
    Building real-world business scenarios, applying best practices, debugging formulas, and reviewing common use cases.
